ONE OF THOSE DAYS!!!

Have you ever had one of those days...you know, the type where things that could possibly go wrong do?   Well, that's kind of the way today went for some folks around here as they were getting ready to go on a weekend retreat.

It was the first summer shakedown use of their camper.   So, it was cleaned and stocked and off they went to stop at the gas station to check the tires, gas up, etc.   First spot of trouble was when there was no gauge on the air pressure hose.   So they called up a friend to bring them a tire gauge.

Before their friend could get there, they called and said to forget it, they had to go back to the house for some papers.   Back to the house they went to look for...current registration!! They also tested the tires and they were all about 25 pounds too low.   Out comes the air pressure machine.   But wait, no registration could be found.   So off to the DMV...fifteen persons in line and only one person working!!!

Get the picture.   Oh, and they paid for some ice and forgot to pick it up.   Like I said, one of those days.   But, they did manage to get everything done and on the road...only several hours later then they had planned!!!

Short post today on simply frugal Fridays.

Don't be frugal with your love, your compassion, your smiles, your hugs or even your forgiveness.   Shower them abundantly and lavishly on friends and family alike, including those with whom you may be at odds currently.   It's simply the best way to spend a day, a weekend, a season, even a lifetime. :)

ZENTANGLE CHALLENGE:  DAY THIRTY-ONE
More new designs...

Someone asked me how I create my journal pages.   I really don't plan my pages.   I just 'do'.   Sometimes it works and sometimes, not so much.

One thing I do like is layering.   Part of that means that some of my previous creations on a page may be partially or even totally covered up.   You can see that in today's page.   Things that were so visible earlier this week are not so clear.   If there was anything in common with my pages, it's discovery.   I don't like things to be obvious, I like the idea of having to discover them.   So here's this week's journal page...

So, how did I do with this week's goals?
1.  Lose one pound - made it
2.  Exercise every weekday - nope, not on the snow days
3.  Blog every weekday - yep, but a little late on two of them
4.  Continue with Zentangle Challenge - still at it
5.  Get trailer ready for Where Bloggers Create blog tour -
     made some progress
6.  Sew background together for wall hanging - Finished it
7.  Write every weekday - A big yes on this one
8.  Work on AG Class - No so much, just watched videos
9.  Begin developing new swap hosting possibilities - Draft done
10.  Begin developing new class hosting possibilities - Working on story boards

All in all, not too bad a week...

Thanks for keeping up with things around here...
Have a fantastic weekend - Summer Solstice is Saturday, the longest day of the year.
Unfortunately, the days will now begin to get shorter.
See you on Monday...
