BEAR LAKE KOA

Hello everyone...how was your weekend? Mine was busy and a lot of fun. But what can I say, playing old fashioned board games with grandkids is fun, especially in this electronic age. Don't get me wrong, I love my electronic gadgets also.

So, I wanted to show you the Bear Lake KOA which is off of the main street. Found out that there were two in the area!

There are wide roads to each lot...
Some lots are full service, some are partial. There are also tent sites which have electric and water hook ups. This is the camp kitchen where you can cook or wash dishes used mainly by tent sites but available for everyone...

No tent nor rv, there are lots of cabins...

Each site has a picnic table and a fire box and you can purchase wood for evenings around the fire.

Activities include:
Miniature golf...

A swimming pool...

A sandy playground...

Kingsize games...

A place to eat the free pancakes...

The Bounce Pad...

There are also bikes and buggies to rent. Every evening there are tractor pulled hay rides around the campgrounds. And many nights there are games for kids.

The town of Garden City where this KOA is located is small but there are a few places of interest to visit including the Raspberry Ice Cream place. There is an Ace Hardware Store and a grocery store at the entrance of the campgrounds, handy for picking up those items folks forgot at home.

I have been here many times and have enjoyed every visit.

Tomorrow I need to get the oil changed in Lady J as well as run a couple errands. I will be leaving Friday morning for NYC.

Thanks for stopping in...
Talk to you later...
