VISITING KINGELS FARM IN SAYLORSBURG PA
Going to the farm last Saturday was lots of fun...a bit hot...but still lots of fun...from the wagon rides to the corn maze to the pumpkin patch and plenty more.
Once the car was parked, we rode the wagon down to the activity area...
There were two tractor pulled wagons and they ran the entire time we were there bringing folks down and taking them back up.
There were lots of things for kids to do from hay stack forts to water pump races. But watching the big air gun shoot pumpkins was just great. There was even a food stand and a fresh lemonade stand.
The corn maze was very large. Everyone was given a card with eleven places to find and punch. We found two after an hour and a half!!! I did say large!!!
There was a petting zoo...
with very friendly animals.
A pumpkin patch...
This shows only a tiny portion of the pumpkin patch. The corn is part of the corn maze. By the way, the stalks were ten feet high...no one could see over them!
Up at the top there was a great farm stand...
I did pick a couple pumpkins from the patch including this pinkish one...
As well as these two small ones which I want to bake...
But I picked up a small orange pumpkin...
And a beautiful pot of mums...
from the Farm Stand.
If you ever have an opportunity to visit a farm and try out the corn maze, do it. The experience is truly memorable.
Thanks for visiting...
Talk to you later...
