ARRIVED...

I took this picture back in NYC a couple days before leaving for the west. I wonder if these flowers are still as vibrant?  I also took a couple of carved pumpkins before I left and didn't have a chance to share them...

With all the store bought decorations for halloween, it was nice to see actual carved pumpkins!!!

Well, the trip out was something. The first day it rained all day. When I stopped at a truck stop around 2am, it was still pouring down. But when I woke up around 5am the rain had finally stopped only to be replaced by very, very dense fog. I couldn't even see the road signs next to the road until I was right next to them. And the fog lasted most of the day. By the time I stopped again at another truck stop for some sleep it has dissipated but it was back the next morning, though. This time the fog only lasted an hour. Unfortunately it was replaced by high winds (Wyoming is known for that) and rain. I was driving into the wind and I could watch the mileage go down mile by mile.

I have to say, though, that driving SnowWhite was a dream even in bad weather. And there's much more room to stretch out and take a nap than there was in Lady J.

The weather out here is wild. I took these pictures an hour ago...

And here are a couple I just took...

It's snowing!!! The interesting thing is the amount of snow actually coming down depends on which way one is looking!!!

I spent the weekend having fun with the grandkids, enjoying some time with friends of the family as well as family and just generally relaxing (with some football thrown in for fun). Today, I am back working on things for the Holiday Party as well as doing some crocheting.

Hope wherever you are, the weather is nice and you're enjoying life...
Thanks for stopping by...
Talk to you later...
