These beautiful flowers line the roads in abundance around here.
So, yesterday I finally had my appointment which I rescheduled from Tuesday. But it was a long appointment. And when I left, I stopped into the Goodwill Outlet one last time. I picked up three white blankets which I will be using for Snowman Centerpieces at the December Holiday Guild Party. I also found a tapestry case perfect for a sewing machine. The rest of the day was filled with family celebrations.
Today has not been one of my better days...
I continued cleaning Duchess. A little mouse made it into the trailer so between that and an exploded soda can, I had quite a bit of cleaning. I am about half done. But...there's always a but...while cleaning, I found what I think may have been a leak. I am not sure...it could have been condensation. The ceiling looks a bit like a popcorn ceiling in one area. But in any case, I went to several different stores trying to find a sealant. Gave up and ordered it from Amazon.
The roof looks fine but the edges are a bit rough so I am going to seal all around the edge of the roof when the sealant comes which should be Saturday.
Then I went to pick up some meds only to find that the system was down at the store and they were behind by a day...fun.
Finally, I went to pay bills on line and my bank would not finish the payment process. So I had to go to the individual sites and pay bills!!!
Like I said, not one of my better days.
I finally took a look at one of the magazines I picked up...Art Quilting Studio...and that was a plus. Every single article had something I can use in my workshops. Wow. That was such a pleasant experience...especially after such a crummy day.
Well, that's all for tonight. I didn't get the post published before midnight eastern time, but it's only 11:10pm here so I did make it for this time...
