25 Days Christmas Crafts - Day Thirteen - Felt Angel

Today's a busy day...need to clear out the stuff in SnowWhite's bed so I can put in the new bars which will replace the running board that got damaged.   I decided to go with bars and put them on both sides.  They arrived a few days ago and the box is BIG, LONG & HEAVY!

The weather is sunny and in the mid to high 50's today which is really not great if you think about global warming.  Unfortunately, I don't think many folks will connect the warmer weather, lack of snow/rain as well as the dramatically worse storms that we are experiencing (Like the tornadoes this past week.) with global warming.  And until we get a better handle on this issue and do something about it, we will probably continue to experience worse storms throughout the year rather than in the normal time span.

So today's craft is another felt ornament.  It's easy and fun and really looks beautiful with the gold trim.

Supplies needed:  Paper (for pattern), felt, stuffing,
needle and thread, thin gold trim, glue, scissors

Cut patterns out of paper...

Cut two felt pieces each of the angel body and wings...

With needle and matching thread, sew the two body
pieces together, leaving the back open to stuff before
sewing closed...

Attach the wings, one on each side using a running
stitch and then accent the wings continuing with
running stitch as shown...

Glue the edges of the angel,
the wings and wing accents, and attach
the thin gold thread...

When finished outlining with the gold thread,
add a loop of thread to hang the ornament...

Enjoy...
Talk with you tomorrow...
