My son's home in Park City had so much snow, it was hard to see the tops of the fence posts!
Here, today it is cloudy and cool with highs in the mid to high 50's. But the rain is forecast for tomorrow...not today.
Then it looks like eight days of sunny warm weather just in time for spring break!
I am still having fun with scrapbook tag journals. One thing I did learn was that it was nice to have pockets, notebooks and other ephemera ready to use when I want to make a journal.
There are many variations on YouTube of the folded tag holder I recently made which can be attached to a page in a journal.
When folded, it looks like the picture below. The flat part in the back can be glued to the page...
Here it is with the first flap opened. You can add pockets to this flap but I chose to only add torn pieces from an old magazine...
The second flap is opened on the next picture. Again, you can add pockets to this flap also, but I chose to treat it the same way I treated the first flap. You can see the first diagonal pocket...
Picking up the second flap and pulling it open will show the remaining pages both of which have pockets...one vertical and two horizontal...
And this is how it looks with tags in the pockets...
I used one piece of printer paper as a base but I think I would like to use a bit heavier paper but not card stock. I cut it to size vertically so it would fit the page and I rounded the corners with a punch. Then I played around with the folds to get what I wanted. I also inked the folds. I then added the pockets and tags. For different variations check out YouTube.
That's all for today...
Be sure to take some time to relax today...
Talk with you tomorrow...
