I only have three days before I leave for the west. I have finished everything on my to-do list except packing and things I can do here at home.
I hope to rest a lot this weekend so I want to get everything done tomorrow.
This week on the sidebar, we're talking about holding onto something that you should let go? I find that I have difficulty letting go of craft things. Even craft projects that I am not interested in doing any more but still hesitate to get rid of.
For instance, in the past I have done some quilling. You know, curling strips of paper into shapes and creating things like flowers, etc. I have lots of paper strips and all the equipment needed but even when I pull it out, I simply look at it and am not at all inspired to create anything with it.
Yet, I have put it in the give-away box several times and wind up taking it out every single time. I really can't figure out why. I am going to take it with me this trip and if I don't use it, then I will give it away there when I leave. It will be hard to retrieve it from a distance of 2,000 miles!
Have any of you had a problem getting rid of something even if you don't really want to use it? It is a mystery to me.
That's it for now...
Talk with you tomorrow...
