Everyone I have talked with this week feels exhausted including me. And it's not just locally. Folks from the west, to the midwest, to the northeast to eastern coastal areas all feel completely exhausted and tired.
I find that quite interesting. What could possibly be in all these areas that result in the same symptom of exhaustion! I guess it could be allergies to different pollens but most things are already out and blooming.
Do you have any plans for the weekend? Maybe this is the weekend that you decide to take it easy and just relax around the house. And considering how many folks are feeling tired around the nation, that's definitely a great idea.
Me? I will finish getting ready to leave on Monday. Hopefully there will be some time without the rain so I can check out the bed of the truck. I don't think there's much in the bed, but I haven't looked for quite some time.
I do want to get the truck washed and filled up so I don't have to stop at a gas station right away Monday morning.
I have been setting clothing aside to pack...some for when I get there and some for overnight stops. And, I do need to take along a couple projects to work on. My problem is which projects. I want to keep it simple so it will probably be handwork of some sort.
And finally, electronics and all the required paraphernalia that go with them. I find that packing these things is so different from my vacations growing up or even when the children were young. We didn't have Switches or laptops or iPads or Kindle Readers. Instead, we had coloring books, books or magazines to read and toys. Folks were not glued to their smart phones.
Good? Bad? Good and bad! I love the fact that I can read lots of books and magazines on an electronic device. A library at my fingertips without hauling all the books around. And believe me, we had thousands of books at one time and moved them three times. Not fun!
At the same time, spending hours on social media is not great for anyone. It's like living your life vicariously. In other words, living your life indirectly through others and not really living your own life.
At any rate, as I will be on the road next week I will probably not have time to write posts for my blog. So look for me the following week. (If I have time, I may write something about the trip or post a picture I took on the way.)
That's if for today...
Talk with you when I can...
