We lost electricity again yesterday for a couple hours. Not sure why...we did have a lot of rain but no real wind. This coming right after the two day electrical outage made me realize how dependent on that utility we really remain.
So I decided to do something rather than just sit and listen/watch tv on my phone. I took out the pens and finished another doodle from the previous day...
Bringing the season of orange motivated me to do some fall baking so I made some pumpkin bread. I didn't realize I only had a tiny bit of cloves so I wound up substituting allspice so the bread was mild tasting. Good but mild. Check this out...
And when the pumpkin quick bread was in the oven, I decided to make supper. After looking at what I had available, I made an easy one...hamburger/potato/corn pie. Check this out...

After I was finished in the kitchen, I relaxed and worked on the pages for my small journal. Here is one page...
The pocket held a journal card and the side tuck held a journal fold out card...
By the way, I use card stock as the basis for my journal cards and I may even add another piece of card stock. I like my journal cards to have enough stiffness to allow the writer to have an easy experience writing on journal cards anywhere.
