It's Friday, the weekend's coming up!!! So do you have any plans? The fall farmer's markets are just beginning to advertise. No corn mazes yet but pumpkins are all over.
Still no color on the leaves but this morning was very cool. Cool enough to need long sleeves while drinking coffee on the patio.
I was going to drive up to the Bennington, Vermont Museum next week to see the Dear Jane Quilt but the fall foliage map is predicting lots more color the first week of October. And the Dear Jane Quilt is up until October 9th so I may go up the first week of October.
My Vikings lost last night but after being down a ton of points, they managed to draw close - 28 to 34 - but they ran out of time. All I can say is that it's better than the first Giant's game!
The house is clean and there's leftovers to eat, the cats are fed, the laundry's done and my studio's clean...soooooooo...I get to play today! In my studio! I'm just not sure what to do first! What a delicious problem! I'll share what I do on Monday.
While watching the game, I worked on a few more pages for the small journal. First, there were two pages previously done that I was not happy with so I redid them with new journal cards or notebooks. For the first page, I changed the journal card to a folded journal card with a pocket and small journal card inside...
For the second page, I changed the journal card to a journal notebook...
The last set of pages are really envelopes. I got the pockets and tucks along with the journal cards, etc. done but not decorated. Here they are...
Once I finish decorating these pages, then I will assemble the small journal. Guess that means that I will need to start another one!
