And now the countdown to the next big holiday begins. Christmas!
I have already mailed one package and as you can tell, I have three more ready to go. A really big bonus is no lines at the post office. Folks don't panic about sending gifts until the second week of December. Then the lines are quite long. I will have everything mailed by the end of November!
That leaves one final package. I have all the presents wrapped. Here are a few...
I went a bit over the top wrapping this year adding crocheted snowflakes and yarn bows and ties. But it was a lot of fun.
I am 95% done with shopping. I only need two more presents. One present I know what to get. The problem is that I am not sure what to get for the other present. What's nice is that I have enough time to figure it out.
The leaves have really blown down and are quite deep...problem is that it rained yesterday and last night so raking them up is out of the question once again. They don't rustle when walked on...they squish!
The week is beginning to fill up with zoom meetings and chats. It's also time to pack up the 'season of orange'...fall decorations getting ready to put up the Christmas decorations. My plan is to have the tree up and decorated by the end of the week, but that deadline is not written in stone.
I want to finish up the 'Advent Calendar' using envelopes. I had photos some of the envelopes in an earlier post. And I want to finish up another journals.
There's a new weekly question posted and a new daily thought posted. The question is especially relevant this time of year. Remember to use the web version when reading my blog on a smart phone.
That's it for today...
Talk with you tomorrow...
