Three types of cookies...Wedding Cookies, Refrigerator Caramel Cookies and Shortbread Drop Cookies. Some candy...basically fudge and cranberry fudge with white bark. One batch of cranberry pudding. Two batches of fruitcake cupcakes. A refrigerator fruitcake - it's a southern thing - and finally some sugar plums. Guess that's a lot now that I think about it!
And in two weeks we begin the new year. Can you believe that 2023 is almost gone? One thing to think about between now and then are your goals for 2024. I have been considering which goals I want to focus on this year. Some are the same and some are different. In your spare moments, you may want to at least consider what goals you may want to work towards in 2024.
We had a ton of rain last night. This morning there was four to five inches of standing water on our patio. That's not really common. The rain was so hard that it woke me up around 2:45am. It has tapered off but the grey clouds in the sky look as though they could open up and drop a ton more water...as though we don't have enough already!!!
The house is decorated. The tree looks really nice...
I wanted to check out the slim trees because this is where I wanted to put the tree this year. Guess I forgot that my tree is quite slim as it fits nicely in the corner. The added bonus is that cars coming from the south can see the tree lights both inside and outside!
I found a new to me Christmas Group called Shimmering Music Project. I believe that there are two albums. If you can, give them a listen. I absolutely love their first album.
