However, the temperatures warm up into the mid 40's in a week, so the snow may not be around long.
I did finish the rest of the four by six square sections. They are pictured below. The last picture also includes the fabric that will surround all of the square sections...a bright blue...
This is truly a scrap quilt. I am questioning whether or not to include the scrap strips. This may be large enough without them.
One of the things that I want to explore this year is my/our inner life. Many of us ignore this important part of our existence for a variety of reasons from being busy with raising families or our work career or even the feeling that it's not important enough to spend time on.
However, our inner life really does dictate a lot of who we are...our identity, our desires, our purpose, how we feel, how we react. The list goes on. And yet, many of us simply do not take or feel we have the time to delve into it.
Some folks begin to think about their inner life when they get older and maybe that's the way their bodies are wired to consider that aspect of who they are. But many folks think about their inner life earlier, then for various reasons stop thinking about it until later. That seems to be a more common description of consideration.
No matter where you are in your life, take a few moments this evening and think about your inner life. Who you are? What you believe (and that doesn't mean religiously only but about all aspects of what you believe). What you feel? Etc. It could be an interesting beginning of a dialogue with yourself.
Talk with you tomorrow...
