A hot day today.  I did manage to get lots done outside.  About half of the back yard has been trimmed with my electric trimmer.  Dragging the cord around is not really hard and there's no smell.

I hope to finish the yard tomorrow morning after 8am before the rain moves in.

I was also able to pot the flowers I purchased last weekend.  And a rose bush that I put outside last winter thinking it was dead has survived so I repotted it in a larger pot.  I also found a pot of chives and two pots of peppermint that survived.

Once the tree over our patio stops shedding seeds (It looked like it snowed several mornings!) I will arrange the all those pots around the patio.

As I said, it did get hot early on and I think I probably overdid outside work...not quite used to the hot sun.  So I had to take it easy this the rest of the day, thus a late blog.

I host a chat day once a month for the Empire Guild and it was scheduled to be today...I had it down on my calendar for next Wednesday.  A few folks contacted me about it...so I will be sending out an apology to the members and inviting them to a zoom chat next Wednesday.

The trip is coming up fast and I do have some things I want to finish before leaving...sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day.
