Another three day weekend...how did you spend yours?  I hope that at some time you remembered what Memorial Day is all about.  We really rely on those folks who defend our nation and our democracy.

Well, this is the last week before I leave for the west so there's lots of things to get done from making a list of things to bring, packing, cleaning the truck, getting the oil changed and two new tires for SnowWhite and making arrangements for things to continue here while I am gone.

I worked on the garden this weekend, especially tying up the tomato plants which are bursting out of their cages and the raised garden.  There are so many tomatoes on the vines that canning will be needed.  My hope is that they don't completely ripen before I get back.

So one of the things I did to get ready is create containers for craft items I want to bring.  Remember this one...

This one is for my pens and drawing although the middle pocket does contain watercolors.

I decided to make two more.  One for my small weaving loom and supplies...

And one for my pencils and drawing pad...
