Did I move in the middle of the night? Nope still living in the northeastern part of USA!
It's actually cloudy out with the possibility of rain later on today. Yesterday the week's forecast was for high 40's...today the forecast has several low 50's!
I'm hoping to take the donation things out to SnowWhite and the rest of the recycles to the recycle bin. I may check out the storage unit to see what's left to go through. There's still ice and snow in places but I think that will be gone by afternoon...we lost a lot yesterday and with temperatures ten degrees warmer today I think most will be gone.
I got out my fabric yesterday and made a small piece experimenting with some landscape ideas...
This is raw edged applique with tulle covering to hold things down. I have outlined the top half of the piece using a silver metallic thread in the sewing machine.
This is a small piece, about 10 by 11 inches. My plan is to eventually make a larger landscape using raw edged free hand cut fabric but I want to try out a couple things on a small piece first.
How are you doing with your life's dream? Still not sure what it is. Have you tried daydreaming or visualizing in your mind what you may want your life's purpose to be? Sometimes folks think that they are too busy or too old or too 'you name it' to decide or even think about their dream, their purpose in life. Not true...not true at all.
No matter what your circumstances are, you can still have a purpose to strive for. It can be a large one or a small one...a long one or a short one. Maybe you feel that you can only handle one day at a time...your purpose could be as simple as just getting through the day, or it could be accomplishing one positive thing during the day.
The thing is if you never have a dream, a purpose, something to strive for, you will never have the satisfaction of accomplishment. That warm feeling that comes when you acknowledge 'I did it'!
