MISSING IN ACTION

Sorry that I have not been around for a few days but I have had some serious dental surgery. About the only thing I want to do is rest. I should be back in a couple days but until then, keep cool and enjoy summer...

CRAFTING IDEAS

I always have lots of fabric scraps and am looking for a way to use them. This one is really simple. You need a wire or bendable clothes hanger, a scissors (I like to use a pinking shears but they are not necessary) and fabric. I cut a lot of strips of fabric about 3" by 1". The amount depends on the size of your circle. Form a circle out of the sturdy wire or hanger, and tie the strips unto the ring until it is full. Add a bow and hang. You can make them for different seasons by using different color waves such as oranges and browns for fall. This craft is easy, fast, fun and the result really is quite nice.
