We did lose cable and internet most of the day but with the exception of brownouts and short electricity outages, we did have that most of the time. Everything came back on line about an hour ago.
It's been one of those days - dark, windy, rainy - that makes it hard to talk myself into being productive. I did work on the weekly mini-newsletter for the guild a bit but for the most part, I simply relaxed and read...and made sure we had enough water on hand.
We have a well, so lose of electricity meant lose of water!
What a way to end the Spring Holidays. Speaking of which, I hope that all of you who celebrated had an enjoyable, if unique, time. It was beautiful here on Sunday, so we barbequed outside. But, all the of normal foods that I make for this time were absent. Could not get the ingredients. Heck my first delivery from the store is not until Thursday of this week!!!
Well, we shall survive this also...
