I  had not planned on not posting on my blog yesterday but after taking SnowWhite to the garage to have the recall serviced, the day simply took over with other plans.

I have to say, though, that after they did the recall fix on my truck, it is running much quieter and with more get up and go!  I thought the fix was to make sure it didn't slip into first abruptly...not make the truck work better!  All good as far as I'm concerned!

So, I have been working on my junk journal and sewing.  I'll share the pages from the junk journal today and the fabric creations tomorrow.  Here's the first set of pages...

You can see that it has an envelop foldout with two journaling cards on one side and three on the other.  Here's the second set...

Another envelope foldout.  The top picture has two journaling cards and a small notebook.  The bottom picture has three journaling cards.  I think I will make two more pages for this journal and then finish it.

I saw this fold on Scrapbooking With Me...it's a pocket with no glue and it is so simple I can't believe it.  You can start with any size rectangle and fold as shown...

Next fold the top down...

And fold the bottom up...

Finally, insert the top into the fold on the bottom...

Flatten out and you have a no glue pocket...so easy and simple...

On Scrapbooking With Me, she even used the same paper which is a Friday Free Download if you subscribe to her videos.  Check out the site, there are lots and lots of ideas.

That's all for today, I'm hosting a quilting chat in an hour.  Have a great day and enjoy yourself...

Talk with you tomorrow...
